Our customers really like us! But don’t take our word for it. Here are some actual reviews posted by our customers on the web.
We were introduced to Mark and Trish Mosher, of Retriever Run, by mutual friends who have had a successful relationship with Retriever Run for many years. During our first conversation with Trish Mosher we were impressed with her knowledge of Labrador Retrievers and her description of their kennel and their training methods. Trish took the time to understand what we were looking for in a dog and to clarify what our expectations were for training. Trish and Mark made all the arrangements to locate a Labrador Retriever breeder and then they cared for and trained our chocolate lab Tess from the time she was 8 weeks old until she was 5 and a half months old.
During that time Trish kept in frequent contact with us, sending us videos and pictures of Tess as she grew and developed. Mark and Trish had an ideal location for Tess and her litter mate to play, run, swim and rest. Tess also had the advantage of being guided by several older mature and nurturing labs who gently taught and nudged her to venture out into the water or to come when called.
As a result of such positive and loving care, Tess had no trouble transitioning to her new home with us. If we hadn’t already fallen in love with her, she reinforced our love by how easily she because our best friend. Not only is she sweet and well behaved, she walks well on a leash, sits for us on command, comes when we call her and is a happy, loyal companion. Everything we had wished for in a pet.
I am so thankful for Cooper, a beautiful male Labrador from Retriever Run. I recently lost my prior service dog and Trish has definitely came through with Cooper. He came to me with an abundance of training and just enough spunk and humor to help me get my independence back. He is a quick learner and will have all his service tasks completed within the next couple of weeks. Thank you again Trish you breed and raise winning dogs.
We recently got Arthur, a 4½ month old black lab from Trish and Mark Mosher / Retriever Run Kennel. We live in Maine, and Arthur was at their Mississippi home when we contacted them. We wanted a pup for our 4 ½ year-old black lab Moose (that we also got from them when he was 8 weeks old), so he would have a buddy to play with. We wanted that pup to come from where we had gotten Moose. Trish arranged everything in order to get him to us. He flew by American Airlines into Portland Maine. The communication, pictures and videos from Trish made the process flow. Moose took to Arthur right away. Arthur is healthy, very well mannered, and polite for a pup. You can tell a lot of love and time was spent on him. He is just so sweet, and his temperament is so relaxed. He has fit right into our home like he has always been with us. Arthur is the third pup we have gotten from them. Bear was the first black lab pup we got a long time ago. Bear has since gone to doggie heaven. When we learned Arthur means Bear it made his name that much more special. Our experience has been wonderful through the years, and we will always go to them for our dogs and guidance. Labs are family.
Are you thinking about getting a family pet? Don’t think twice about it! Are you thinking about getting a Lab? Don’t think twice about it! Are you considering Retreiver Run Kennels? Don’t think twice about it! Are you considering another breeder or kennel? Think again!
Nash, our 3 year black Lab came from Retreiver Run kennels. We dealt with Trish and Mark throught the process and they are simply outstanding. Nash was 2 1/2 when we got him and he became an immediate member of the family. He was well trained, healthy, and is a pleasure to have with us whether at home and when we travel.
I still maintain contact with Trish and she is always there to answer any questions we may have with respect to Nash.
We’ve had a fabulous first couple days! Prim made several new friends at the dog park (Mae the Boxer is her new bff and they would play frisbee together for hours if you let them). Went for several walks at one of my favorite local natural areas and she did very well. She has her daycare trial on Wednesday and we start obedience training next week. She’s also done well in her kennel when I’ve run out to do errands. Same with car rides, she just curls up in her car seat in the back or looks out the window. Is also very good at unpacking her toy bin then taking up the entire couch while she plays with whatever she picks out lol. She really is the sweetest and I just love having her around!
