Hips
All pups bred and whelped at Retriever Run Kennel carry a hip guarantee. This covers any genetic problems which prevents the dog from being certified by the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA).
It is impossible to state that any given dog will be completely free of a genetic imperfection. OFA will only certify dogs that have reached 24 months of age. For this guarantee to be honored, the dog must be x-rayed and certified by 26 months of age.
We offer this guarantee providing the purchaser complies with this agreement: If a problem should arise before the dog reaches the required age stated herein, you must have OFA, or an experienced Vet evaluate the X-rays and send you a copy of their findings. And a copy of the findings from OFA must be sent to Retriever Run Kennel. When these requirements are met, this Guarantee will be in affect and honored by Retriever Run Kennel in the order of a refund of the purchase price with the purchaser retaining the dog or the dog can be returned, and a replacement puppy given.
If the purchase price of the replacement puppy is greater than the original purchased puppy, the purchaser will pay the difference. The expenses of transportation of another puppy will be assumed by the purchaser. No vet expenses or OFA expenses related to the hip problem will be covered by Retriever Run Kennel.
Eyes
All pups bred and whelped at Retriever Run Kennel carry an eye guarantee. This covers Hereditary Retinal problems with the eyes.
It is impossible to state that any given dog will be completely free of a genetic imperfection and a Hereditary Retinal problem is very rate when both parents have a Clear CERF rating.
We offer this guarantee providing the purchaser complies with this agreement: This eye guarantee is only good for up to 24 months of age. For this guarantee to be honored, the dog must be checked by a certified licensed Ophthalmologist if symptoms are suspected. A copy of the Evaluation findings must be sent to Retriever Run Kennel and to vet of Retriever Run Kennel’s choice for a second Evaluation. When these requirements are met, this Guarantee will be in affect and honored by Retriever Run Kennel in the order of a refund of the purchase price with the purchaser retaining the dog or the dog can be returned, and a replacement puppy given.

Health
The puppy you bought is guaranteed to be healthy and free from disease as of the purchase date. In case of illness, the purchaser shall have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seven days of receipt of the puppy.
In the event that the veterinarian determines that the puppy has health problems that cannot be readily resolved, and the health problems were present at the time of purchase, the purchaser can choose to keep the puppy and Retriever Run Kennel shall pay fifty percent of the vet expense bill or the puppy can be returned to Retriever Run Kennel and the purchaser will receive a complete refund of the puppy purchase price. In the case of a terminal illness and the puppy dies and if the illness presented within seven days of the purchase date, Retriever Run Kennel shall refund the purchase price.
Disclosure:
These guarantees are limited to only Hip, Eye, and 7-day health of the puppy. No other or future health problems of this puppy will be covered by Retriever Run Kennel nor is Retriever Run Kennel responsible for medical expenses.
